Rivertown's Features and Attractions

Kenner's Rivertown is proud to be home to the following attractions suitable for residents and vistors of all ages!

LaSalle's Landing

LaSalle’s Landing is located at the southernmost end of Williams Boulevard at the foot of levee.  This area boasts not only historical significance, but it also satisfies the curiosity in us all to witness the strength and power of the mighty Mississippi River.  Trek up the levee and test your knowledge of Louisiana history as you stroll under the flags of ten different countries, all of which at some point governed our home state.  Once at the top, visitors can soak in the sights of magnificent ships, tugboats and other vessels navigating the river.  A well maintained bike and walking path also awaits at the top for those seeking further adventure!

Rivertown Theaters for the Performing Arts

Theatre 13 is proud to present a wonderful line up of productions at the Rivertown Theaters for the Performing Arts! The mission of Theatre 13 is to bring new and exciting productions to the New Orleans area while providing local theatre artists an opportunity to perform, create, and be compensated for their work.

Rivertown Theaters is located at 325 Minor Street in Kenner's Rivertown.  Click here to be redirected to the Rivertown Theaters for the Performing Arts official webpage to learn more about its current features and attractions or call 504-461-9475 for more information.

Kenner's Heritage Park

Kenner's colorful cultural history is celebrated in a replicated village of days gone by. Stroll down beautifully landscaped walkways, pass buildings such as a turn-of-the-century packing shed, ice house, and a 1930's era gas station. The site also includes a beautiful pond and bridge adjacent to the replica of St. Mary's Church, the first Catholic church in Kenner.
