The City of Kenner Municipal Fire & Police Civil Service Board is responsible for administering examinations for the following classified positions: Police Officer, Correctional Peace Officer, Police Communications Officer, Fire Fighter, Fire Communications Officer, and Fire Prevention/Investigation/Education. Examinations are given as required by law every eighteen (18) months or as the needs of Civil Service require. Information and applications can be obtained from the above location.
