Froebel's Gifts Energized - Vivien Collens

Froebel's Gifts Energized Cube sculpture on Power Blvd.

A native of Cleveland, Collens earned her MFA from Instituto Allende, Mexico.  Her early works were widely shown in New York in the 70s and 80s, before she began exhibiting again in 2015 with her Urban Studies and City Blocks solo exhibition at the Rockefeller headquarters of Gensler.  Vivian has both solo and group exhibitions, and earned many honors, awards, and commissions.  This sculpture is 18 feet high, 4 feet long and 4 feet wide, and constructed of aluminum tubing, with a weight of 600 pounds.
